Celtic will play Real Madrid, RB Leipzig and Shakhtar Donetsk, whilst Rangers will take on Ajax, Liverpool and Napoli in the Champions League group stage.

The two sides discovered their fate in this evening's draw in Istanbul.

It is the first time both Glasgow sides are in the group stage since 2007.

It is the first time the Gers will feature in Europe's elite competition for 12 years.

Celtic progressed as Scottish champions, having played Europa League football for five years in a row.
