Scottish FA chief executive, Stewart Regan, has been outlining the plans for "Project Brave" - Scotland's new blueprint for footballing success.

The main priority will be to streamline the current club academy system and move from the 29 academies we currently have, to an 'elite' group of up to 16.

In an exclusive interview with Clyde 1 Superscoreboard's Gerry McCulloch, Regan says something must be done to make sure promising Scottish players don't progress well up until the age of 17 and then fail to reach their potential, as is currently happening.
