Climate activists are planning protests at 10 airports across the UK on Saturday November 6.

The "Stay Grounded" group is going to demonstrate against planned airport expansions.

It will coincide with the Global Day of Action for Climate Justice, which will see dozens of marches across the UK.

An estimated 50,000 people are expected to attend a rally in Glasgow, where the COP26 climate summit is being held.

Will you be affected?

Protests will occur at the following airports:

Bristol (BRS)

Doncaster-Sheffield (DSA)

Gatwick (LGW)

Glasgow (GLA)

Leeds-Bradford (LBA)

London City (LCY)

Luton (LTN)

Liverpool (LPL)

Manchester (MAN)

Southampton (SOU)

It is not known what form the action will take - but it is likely activists will attempt to block entrances or stage sit-ins at airport buildings.

Additional security staff will likely be deployed to monitor protests and possibly attempt to disperse activists.
