Meet the six-year-old boy from Cornwall who wants to help house children who are sleeping rough, so Santa knows where to find them.

Mawgan is raising money for the charity End Youth Homelessness by doing a sleep-out in his garden in Fraddon on Friday night.

The schoolboy wanted to help children who are less fortunate this Christmas.

He told Pirate FM he's excited to camp out in his garden and why he's doing it...

"I'm helping homeless people so they can have a warm house and Santa knows where they are."

Mum Hannah says he loves to get involved in fundraising.

"Being six, the best way that he understands it is he's going to be helping raise some money for young children you are currently homeless, so that they've got a nice, warm and safe home Christmas and Santa knows where he can go and find them.

"It's amazing, we're so, so proud of him. He's done a few fundraisers over the last couple of years for various things, he's so inspiring.

"Everyone he meets says he's such an old soul, and just so generous and kind."

Mawgan has very nearly smashed his £350 target.

End Youth Homelessness will be working with 30,000 young people this winter to help them be safe and warm.

Last year over 110,000 young people, aged between 16-25 years, in the UK were homeless or are at risk of homelessness. Some facing serious danger on the streets.

The charity says that without the right help at the right time, this 'downward spiral' lasts through adulthood.

But with the right opportunities and support, homeless young people can turn their lives around and build successful futures.

End Youth Homelessness is challenging people to sleep out to raise awareness and vital funds to help vulnerable young people find a safe, secure place to call home.
