Bring your nightmares to life with the new Alice Cooper colouring book
Featuring classic album covers and iconic images
Rock N’ Roll colouring books have announced their fifth edition of their heavy metal colouring book series, and this time the shock rock king himself, and our very own DJ Alice Cooper, is next in line.
Coming with 25 carefully chosen pictures of Alice Cooper’s 50-year nightmarish reign, classic album artworks and other associated iconic images are featured between the pages. Bring your nightmares to fruition by breathing life into the images of Alice Cooper as Medusa, or join in on the mischief by colouring in School’s Out.
Alice Cooper isn’t the first artist to be featured in the series, as Motörhead, Judas Priest, Megadeth, and Thin Lizzy have all had their histories immortalised in the creative activity. The books are all officially licensed and endorsed by the band’s they feature.
After the last year and half, colouring and other forms of creativity have been proven to have significant mental health benefits, and the books provide a combination of a love of music and a love of art.
Earlier in the year Alice Cooper released his 28th studio album, ‘Detroit Stories’, which was his first full-length release since 2017’s ‘Paranormal’. The record features guest appearances from Joe Bonamassa, original Alice Cooper members Michael Bruce, Dennis Dunaway and Neal Smith, MC5’s Wayne Kramer, U2’s Larry Mullen, and even Sister Sledge.
Titled after the city that birthed the original Alice Cooper group, the record was an homage to toughest rock scene in the US. Also in tribute to his hometown, Alice Cooper explains: “Detroit was the birthplace of angry hard rock. After not fitting in anywhere in the US (musically or image wise), Detroit was the only place that recognised the Alice Cooper guitar-driven, hard rock sound and our crazy stage show!”
The Alice Cooper Rock N’ Roll colouring book will be available 27th August via Eyesore Merch.
