Allman Brothers Release 1971 Concert

Brand new live album due in January

A brand new archival 1971 Allman Brothers live album is to be released on 17 January.

S.U.N.Y. at Stonybrook 9/19/71 was recorded, as the title suggests, on 19 September 1971 and it features the band at their absolute peak. It has been available as a bootleg at various points over the past 39 years but this is the first official release.

Duane Allman was tragically killed less than six weeks after this recording was made, making it one of the last live performances from the original line-up.
