Alter Bridge announce December 2022 UK tour with Halestorm and Mammoth WVH

Alter Bridge have announced a UK & Ireland arena tour for December 2022 with very special guests Halestorm and Mammoth WVH.
The culmination of a larger European trek that takes in 25 cities over 18 countries, the Pawns & Kings Tour hits Nottingham Motorpoint Arena on Monday 5th December and visits Glasgow, Dublin, Manchester and Birmingham before concluding at London The O2 on Monday 12th December.
Tickets to the UK concerts go on sale from Planet Rock Tickets at 10am on Friday 29th April 2022.
The five shows are Alter Bridge's first UK concerts since their rapturously received December 2019 tour with Shinedown.
The band have recently been sharing behind the scenes photos from the studio on social media to built anticipation for their as-yet-untitled seventh studio album, which is expected to be released later in 2022.
Alter Bridge’s vocalist Myles Kennedy says: “Alter Bridge is returning to the EU/UK this winter with our friends from Halestorm and Mammoth. It's going to be a delicious sonic smorgasbord of Earth-shaking Rock & Roll that goes to 11. Don't miss it!”
Halestorm's special guest slot on Alter Bridge's tour follows their intimate ‘An Evening With…’ UK & Ireland tour that took place in February and March.
They release their their eagerly awaited fifth studio album ‘Back From The Dead’ on Friday 6th May 2022, which features the Planet Rock playlisted anthem 'The Steeple.'

Fronted and founded by former Van Halen bassist Wolfgang Van Halen, Mammoth WVH unleashed their rapturously received eponymous debut album in June 2021.
Scooping a ‘Best Rock Song’ Grammy nomination this year for single ‘Distance’ and currently polishing those chops on the road with Guns N’ Roses, expect them to be in imperious form on Alter Bridge’s UK arena tour.

Asked if she would consider performing Johan's music, Nita said: "You know, the waltz doesn't really sound good on the guitar. Like, I've sort of experimented a bit. I have to explore it more, because I would like to. And actually, we talked even about using 'The Blue Danube' as intro music for the tour or something, but it's so on the nose. It's sort of, like, so obvious, but I still want to explore it when I have a little more time."
Meat Loaf was the father-in-law of Scott Ian
