Beatles: The Next Generation?

Four of the Beatles' progeny are contemplating a new band

In an interview with the BBC James McCartney revealed that he had spoken with some of the other offspring of the Fab Four about putting together a band.

"I don't think it's something that Zak Starkey wants to do. Maybe Jason drummer and one of Starr's other sons would want to do it. I'd be up for it. Sean Lennon seemed to be into it, Dhani Harrison seemed to be into it. I'd be happy to do it."

He went on to say that the idea had been mooted "a little bit" and, when pushed on if it could become a reality, answered: "Yeah, hopefully, naturally. I don't know, you'd have to wait and see. The will of God, nature's support, I guess. So yeah, maybe."
