Black Spiders join Steelhouse Festival 2023 line-up

Black Spiders have been added to the Steelhouse Festival 2023 line-up as a last minute replacement for Blues Pills.

Steelhouse Festival has issued a statement confirming that Blues Pills singer Elin Larsson is unwell so the Swedish rockers will no longer be able to honour their Saturday slot.

Black Spiders, who also play Custom Rock & Blues in Derbyshire later the same evening, will now take to the stage from 2.15pm to 3pm on Saturday afternoon (29th July).

Steelhouse Festival said “Sadly, due to ill health and, let's face it, health come first, Blues Pills are unable to appear at SH2023 next Saturday. Please give Elin your very best wishes.

“However, swooping in like the super heroes we all know they are, it's those inimitable Sons of the North, Black Spiders!

“With this there will be an amendment to the running order on Saturday. These are as follows –

Black Spiders - 2:15pm - 3:00pm

Black Mirrors - 3:30pm - 4:20pm

The Damn Truth - 4:50pm - 5:40pm

Florence Black - 6:10pm - 7:10pm

“All other set times remain the same.

“So it's best wishes to Blues Pills and it's FUBS - thanks for stepping into the breach at the 11th hour.”
