Blaze Bayley has been forced to pull out of Planet Rockstock next weekend after testing positive for Covid-19.

The Wolfsbane and ex-Iron Maiden singer and esteemed solo artist was due to play the Main Stage at our Trecco Bay weekender on Saturday 13th November shortly before headliners The Darkness.

A post on Blaze's social media channels reads: "We sincerely regret to announce that Blaze has been forced to pull out of his scheduled performance at Planet Rockstock (Trecco Bay, 13th November 2021) as he has Covid-19 & must now isolate for minimum 10 days.

"We're so very sorry to all fans that expected to see Blaze at this event & we really hope we're able to re-arrange the performance to Planet Rockstock 2022. Please join us in wishing Blaze a full & fast recovery. Stay safe & well."

Elsewhere at Planet Rockstock, Burnt Out Wreck have withdrawn from their slot on the Graham Harding Stage as frontman Gary Moat has a throat infection.

We'll be revealing the replacements for Blaze Bayley and Burnt Out Wreck at midday tomorrow (8th November).

Everyone at Planet Rock wishes Blaze Bayley and Gary Moat well and a speedy recovery.
