After teasing an announcement yesterday, Deep Purple have confirmed that the follow-up to 2017’s ‘Infinite’ boasts 13 new tracks and is available to pre-order RIGHT HERE in a variety of formats including LP Boxset, CD+DVD Mediabook and 2LP + DVD Edition.

For the third consecutive album, Deep Purple have joined forces with esteemed producer Bob Ezrin (KISS, Pink Floyd, Alice Cooper) on ‘Whoosh!’, who personally invited the band to Nashville to write and record new songs.

According to earMUSIC, ‘Whoosh!’ is Deep Purple’s ‘most versatile’ and ‘boundary pushing’ collaboration with Bob Ezrin yet, and it’s the sound of ‘Deep Purple is putting the Deep back into Purple.’

Thematically it sees Deep Purple ‘voice their resentment about the current situation of the world and addressing all generations.’

Guitarist Steve Morse says: “We’ve included everything that made the whole band smile, including Bob Ezrin. We’ve always enjoyed making music and having the incredible luxury of a loyal audience.”

Bassist Roger Glover comments: “I‘ve been asked a lot: Is this our last album? I remember when we did ‘Now What?!’, which is now what…8 years ago? And then we did ‘InFinite’ and Don was asked is this the last album? He said: I thought the last album was the last album.”

The ‘Whoosh!’ album track-listing and artwork is as follows:

1. Throw My Bones 2. Drop The Weapon 3. We're All The Same In The Dark 4. Nothing At All 5. No Need To Shout 6. Step By Step 7. What the What 8. The Long Way Around 9. The Power of the Moon 10. Remission Possible 11. Man Alive 12. And the Address 13. Dancing In My Sleep
