Watch Dino Jelusick perform with Steel Panther after Whitesnake tour cancellation

Whitesnake keyboardist and backing vocalist Dino Jelusick performed with Steel Panther in his native Croatia on Saturday night (2nd July) a day after Whitesnake axed the rest of their European tour.

Late on Friday night (1st July), David Coverdale issued a statement confirming that Whitesnake were unable to complete their Farewell European Tour due to “continuing health challenges.”

A week earlier, Whitesnake cancelled four European dates after Coverdale fell ill with a “infection of the sinus and trachea” and they axed another show in Spain as drummer Tommy Aldridge was “under the weather.”

Guitarist Reb Beach also missed several Whitesnake shows in recent weeks due to an unspecified illness.

On Saturday night – the same evening Whitesnake were due to perform in the Croatian capital – 30-year-old Dino Jelusick appeared as a special guest with Steel Panther at their show at Zagreb’s Tvornica Kulture.

Jelusick lent his powerful vocals to three cover songs with the mock rockers, Van Halen’s ‘Jump’, Europe’s ‘The Final Countdown’ and Whitesnake’s ‘Here I Go Again.’

A member of Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Dino Jelusick officially joined Whitesnake in July 2021 and, alongside new bassist Tanya O’Callaghan, he made his live debut with the band at Dublin’s 3Arena back in May.

Whitesnake are scheduled to tour North America throughout August, September and October as special guests to Scorpions on their Rock Believer Tour.
