Foo Fighters have confirmed that their highly anticipated UK tour will take place in 2024.

Last month, a message on Foo Fighters’ official webstore promoting their 11th studio album ‘But Here We Are’ revealed that UK concerts are on the horizon.

“Pre-order any format of 'But Here We Are' for pre-sale code access to forthcoming and soon-to-be-announced UK live dates,” the message read.

With ‘But Here We Are’ now released and locked in a fierce album chart battle with Noel Gallagher, the Foo Fighters webstore has updated the text today (6th June) by further teasing UK dates.

As the eagle-eyed admin of fan site Foo Fighters UK have spotted, it now reads: “Foo Fighters will tour the UK in 2024. Order 'But Here We Are' from the official store by Thursday 3pm for presale code access to the forthcoming live dates.”

Keen-eyed fans also noted that, whilst the main text suggests buying a copy of the album to secure a pre-sale code, there is also the option below to register for access without having to make a purchase. Head here to register.

Foo Fighters were due to play a UK stadium tour in June and July 2022, but all dates were cancelled following the untimely death of drummer Taylor Hawkins.

With Josh Freese newly recruited as their drummer, Foo Fighters made their live return last month and they played their only European dates of 2023 at Germany’s Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park over the weekend.

In an incredibly close album chart battle, Foo Fighters’ ‘But Here We Are’ is just 200 units behind Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds’ latest effort ‘Council Skies’ at the midweek stage.

If it overtakes ‘Council Skies’, ‘But Here We Are’ will be Foo Fighters’ sixth Number 1 album in the UK following 2002’s ‘One By One’, 2007’s ‘Echoes Silence Patience & Grace’, 2011’s ‘Wasting Light’, 2017’s ‘Concrete and Gold’, and 2021’s ‘Medicine at Midnight.’
