Dave Grohl and Foo Fighters producer Greg Kurstin have covered KISS’s ‘Rock and Roll All Nite’ on the final night of The Hanukkah Sessions.
With Grohl wearing Gene Simmons’ The Demon make-up and singing his lead vocals, and Kurstin taking on Paul Stanley’s Starchild persona, the video was shared by Foo Fighters last night (5th December).
Alongside footage of Grohl and Kurstin belting out the 1975 KISS anthem, the video also features the duo doing everyday things like hoovering, reading a book, yoga, and driving to the local garage for a slushie.
“Ladies and gentlemen….we made it,” Dave Grohl wrote. “Night 8! And what better way to celebrate another year of Hanukkah Sessions than Chaim Witz and Stanley Eisen…. two young lads from Queens that set the world (and thousands of stages) on FIRE as Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley of KISS!!!
“Greg and I would like to thank all of the people that helped ramp up the Hanukkah Sessions this year. It’s gonna be tough to beat! (But we will. Oh, we will…..)

Grohl and Kurstin kicked off the second Hanukkah Sessions series on Sunday 28th November with a blistering death metal cover of Lisa Loeb’s ‘Stay (I Missed You).’
Since then, they’ve covered Van Halen’s ‘Jump’, Barry Manilow’s ‘Copacabana’, The Ramones’ ‘Blitzkrieg Bop’, The Clash’s ‘Train in Vain’, Billy Joel’s ‘Big Shot’ and Amy Winehouse’s ‘Take The Box.’
In other Foo Fighters news, the band have shared the first sneak peak of their horror movie STUDIO 666.
Set to hit cinemas in February 2022, Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett and Rami Jaffee star as themselves in STUDIO 666, which is billed as The Beatles’ Hard Day’s Night meets The Living Dead.
