George Thorogood & The Destroyers move UK tour to 2022
It's taking place two years later than planned

George Thorogood & The Destroyers have moved their seven-date headline UK tour to July 2022 because of the coronavirus pandemic.
The Good To Be Bad: 45 Years Of Rock tour will now open at Glasgow SEC Armadillo on Saturday 23rd July 2022 and calls in at York Barbican, Birmingham Symphony Hall, Nottingham Royal Concert Hall, London O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire and Liverpool Philharmonic Hall before concluding at Manchester Bridgewater Hall on Sunday 31st July.
Ticketholders have been urged to keep hold of their tickets as they remain valid for the new dates. Tickets are also on sale from Planet Rock Tickets now.
George Thorogood & The Destroyers’ UK tour was originally set to take place in July 2020 alongside an appearance at Ramblin’ Man Fair. The trek was moved to 2021 last year before being rescheduled for a second time today.
George Thorogood says: “Ever since our first shows there in 1978, the UK has been one of our favorite places to play.
“We’re talkin’ great venues, great energy and truly great audiences, and we’re looking forward to coming back for it all. Expect our best, because that’s what you’re gonna get.”
George Thorogood & The Destroyers have sold more than 15 million records throughout their distinguished career and scored massive hits with ‘I Drink Alone’, ‘One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer’, ‘Homesick Boy’ and the ubiquitous anthem ‘Bad to the Bone’.
