Watch: Guns N’ Roses release video for new song ‘Perhaps’
The ‘Chinese Democracy’-era track had previously surfaced in demo form

Guns N’ Roses have released an official music video for the track ‘Perhaps’, which is also now available on streaming services.
The song stems back to the lengthy ‘Chinese Democracy’ sessions and a rough demo has been circulating among fans for some years.
Despite this, a press release said the revamped song was “written and recorded by Axl Rose, Slash, and Duff McKagan this year,” and marks the band’s “first collective new composition and recording together in 30 years since 1993’s The Spaghetti Incident?”
‘Hard Skool’ and ‘Absurd’, the two new tracks on the ‘Hard Skool’ EP, were also songs with ‘Chinese Democracy’ roots that had been reworked with guitarist Slash and bassist Duff McKagan.

‘Perhaps’ was reportedly soundchecked ahead of the band’s show in Tel Aviv, Israel on June 5, although it was not played live.
Guns N’ Roses’ longtime production manager Tom Mayhue discussed the band’s future and the possibility of new music ahead of their July 13 concert in Paris, France.
He said that the North American leg of their current tour was set to end in October, adding: "And I know that the band's gonna start working on new music. They've got a bunch of stuff recorded already.
“So there will be new Guns N' Roses music very soon. In fact, I think they're trying to get a single out any day now, so you may hear something very, very soon."
