John Fogerty to perform Creedence Clearwater Revival's greatest hits at rare UK show

The Grammy-winning Rock & Roll Hall of Famer has been unveiled as the first blockbuster headliner of this year’s BluesFest at London’s The O2 on Thursday 25th October.

Making the occasion extra special, John will perform Creedence Clearwater Revival’s greatest hits set at the show. It will also be his only UK date of 2018.  

BluesFest is John’s first headline show on these shores in a decade and his first UK performance since he played alongside Bruce Springsteen at Hard Rock Calling in London’s Hyde Park in summer 2012.

As if the draw of John Fogerty wasn’t enough to lure you, he will be joined by Steve Miller Band, who this year celebrate 50 years since the release of debut album ‘Children Of The Future’. Their full set will also be their only UK date of the year.

Tickets to John Fogerty and Steve Miller Band at BluesFest go on sale from Planet Rock Tickets at 10am on Friday 9th March.

“BluesFest 2017 was a resounding success and I’m incredibly pleased with the progress we’ve made over the last seven years.

“Once again we’ll be at The O2 for BluesFest London and following the success of the inaugural BluesFest Dublin last year, I’ll be looking at increasing our international presence and expanding into a number of new territories whenever and wherever appropriate.”

This year’s festival will expand to run across four nights from Thursday 25th October 25th to Sunday 28th October and will once again utilise all areas of The O2 complex, including the 14,000-capacity Arena and Indigo at The O2.
