KISS mistakenly display Australian flag at Austria gig - photo

KISS made a boo-boo at their concert in Vienna, Austria on Sunday night (26th June) when they mistakenly displayed the Australian flag on their backdrop.
Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer had just finished performing their final song ‘Rock and Roll All Nite’ at Wiener Stadthalle when their traditional thank you to fans flashed up on the screens.
The thank you read: “KISS loves you Vienna.”
Unfortunately, the KISS logo was emblazoned with the Australian flag of the Union Jack and stars on a blue backdrop instead of the red, white and red bands of colour that make up the Austria flag.
An attendee was quick to share a photo of the mistake and it swiftly went viral on Twitter:
KISS continue their swansong End of the Road World Tour in Stuttgart, Germany tonight (28th June) and the European leg concludes in Amsterdam on 21st July before the band head to Australia in August.
Hopefully they don't display the Austria flag when they're Down Under.
The End of the Road World Tour has included five UK arena shows in July 2019 and a headline slot a Download Festival earlier this month.
