LISTEN: Guns N' Roses share previously unreleased piano version of 'November Rain'

The plaintive early version of the Axl Rose penned anthem dates back to Guns N’ Roses’ June 1986 recording session at Sound City Studios in Van Nuys, Los Angeles.

‘November Rain’ eventually appeared on Guns N’ Roses’ third studio album ‘Use Your Illusion I’ in 1991 and was released as single the following year, charting at no.4 in the UK.

‘November Rain’ (Piano Version - 1986 Sound City Session) appears on the remastered and expansive reissue of Guns N’ Roses’ seminal debut album ‘Appetite For Destruction’, which is released tomorrow (29th June).

The album is available on the following formats: a remastered CD costing £5.99, a 2CD deluxe edition (£12.99), a 2LP 180-gram audiophile vinyl edition (£27.99), a super deluxe edition (£149.99) and a Locked N’ Loaded Edition vinyl box set (£849.99).

Guns N’ Roses are also celebrating its release by hosting an exclusive pop-up event called ‘General Admission: London’, which runs from Friday 29th June to Sunday 1st July across four rooms in a never-before-used corner of Stables Market in Camden.
