Lynyrd Skynyrd announce farewell UK shows with special guests Status Quo

Lynyrd Skynyrd have announced the UK leg of their swansong Last of the Street Survivors Farewell Tour.

The Southern Rock icons will play four dates in late June 2019 taking in Glasgow The SSE Hydro, Manchester Arena, London The SSE Arena Wembley and Birmingham Resorts World Arena.

The very special guests at all dates on the swansong trek are fellow rock institutions Status Quo. Tickets go on sale from Planet Rock Tickets at 9am on Friday 9th November.

Lynyrd Skynyrd are currently in the midst of their current North American leg of their Last of the Street Survivors Farewell Tour, which continues through to December.

Classic tracks that have featured on the setlist include ‘Simple Man’, ‘Sweet Home Alabama’, ‘Gimme Three Steps’ and, of course, ‘Free Bird’.

The current line-up of the band features founding member Gary Rossington alongside Johnny Van Zant, Rickey Medlocke, Mark Matejka, Michael Cartellone, Johnny Colt, Peter Keys, Dale Krantz Rossington and Carol Chase.

Lynyrd Skynyrd last toured the UK in April 2015 when they played Glasgow Clyde Auditorium, Manchester O2 Apollo and London Eventim Apollo.
