The band, who headline Planet Rock presents Winter’s End on Friday night (8th March), are special guests to The Wildhearts on their eight-date May 2019 Renaissance Tour.

Following this, they will open proceedings at Lynyrd Skynyrd’s Last of the Street Survivors Farewell Tour, which takes in arenas in Glasgow, Manchester, London and Birmingham in June.

The Lynyrd Skynyrd dates also include Massive Wagons’ musical heroes Status Quo on the bill. Massive Wagons, of course, unleashed the Rick Parfitt tribute track ‘Back To The Stack’ in 2017 several months after his untimely death.

Enthusing about their two upcoming coveted support slots, Massive Wagons singer Baz Mills told Planet Rock: “Announcements like this on their own are what touring bands dream of, just getting to make one of these announcements is incredible. But two in two days is mind blowing!

“Getting to tread the path that all of these legendary bands have laid before us is a dream come true... Skynyrd, Quo, The Wildhearts, and Wagons, just to read it gets me buzzing, honest working man’s rock and roll! Bring it on!”

Tickets to both tours are on sale from Planet Rock Tickets right now.

Massive Wagons also play their own headline Back To The Stack Tour in April after a series of European dates with Thunder.
