Mick Fleetwood's Peter Green concert to hit UK cinemas
Last week’s Mick Fleetwood & Friends concert in honour of Peter Green and the early music of Fleetwood Mac is set to hit UK cinemas this summer.

Held on Tuesday 25th February 2020 at the London Palladium, the very special one-off Mick Fleetwood & Friends Celebrate The Music of Peter Green concert was curated by Mick Fleetwood himself and featured a galaxy of A-list guest stars.
Mick personally invited Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top), David Gilmour (Pink Floyd), Kirk Hammett (Metallica), Jonny Lang, John Mayall, Christine McVie (Fleetwood Mac), Zak Starkey, Jeremy Spencer (Fleetwood Mac), Pete Townshend (The Who), Steven Tyler (Aerosmith), Rick Vito (Fleetwood Mac), Bill Wyman (The Rolling Stones), Neil Finn (Crowded House) and Noel Gallagher (Oasis) to perform on the night.
The house band featured Mick Fleetwood along with Andy Fairweather Low, Dave Bronze, and Ricky Peterson, and seminal tracks performed on the night included ‘Albatross’, ‘The Green Manalishi (With the Two Prong Crown)’, ‘Need Your Love’, ‘Oh Well, Part I and Part 2’, ‘Rattlesnake Shake’ and set closer ‘Shake You Moneymaker’.
Now it’s been confirmed that the Peter Green tribute concert will be screened in its entirety at select UK cinemas on Tuesday 2nd June and Sunday 7th June 2020.
Directed by Martyn Atkins (Joni 75, Crossroads Guitar Festival, Cream at the Royal Albert Hall), alongside the concert in its glorious entirety there will also be an introduction from Mick Fleetwood, interviews with guest artists and exclusive rehearsal footage.
Mick Fleetwood says of the cinema screening: “This one of a kind show was no mean feat to put together and the ability to share and relive the event all over again in cinemas is incredible, for us, as artists, as well as our fans.
“I’m very happy this performance can now be experienced in a big screen format by audiences far and wide all over the globe.”
