Miley Cyrus joined Def Leppard and Foo Fighters on stage at the Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert at Los Angeles’ Kia Forum last night (27th September) for a special performance.
Sharing singing duties with Planet Rock’s very own Joe Elliott and flanked by members of Def Leppard and Foo Fighters, Miley Cyrus lent her pitch-perfect rock vocals to a rendition of Def Leppard’s 1983 anthem ‘Photograph.’
It was the second of two songs Def Leppard performed at the Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert. They were also joined by Dave Grohl, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett and Weezer drummer Pat Wilson for ‘Rock of Ages.’

The audience at the Kia Forum were treated to a sprawling 53-song setlist that kicked off with Foo Fighters standing arm-in-arm on stage before Dave’s daughter Violet Grohl performed Leonard Cohen’s ‘Hallelujah’ with Alain Johannes.
Other guest artists who didn’t appear in London included Joan Jett, Mötley Crüe, Heart’s Nancy Wilson, Tool’s Danny Carey, Alanis Morissette, Sebastian Bach, Black Sabbath’s Geezer Butler, The Pretty Reckless’ Taylor Momsen, Nirvana’s Kirst Novoselic, Dave Chappelle, Soundgarden’s Kim Thayil and Matt Cameron, and P!nk.

Miley Cyrus has showcased her rock credentials numerous times, and covered Metallica’s ‘Nothing Else Matters’ at Glastonbury in 2019 before recording a studio version for ‘The Metallica Blacklist’ two years later.
She later joined forces with Metallica themselves for a live rendition of the rock ballad.
