New Status Quo 2013 UK Tour

Classic line up reunite for tour of the UK

Published 5th Nov 2012

Status Quo fans can celebrate the band's classic line up reuniting by seeing them live as they tour the UK in March. This represents the first time in over three decades that Francis Rossi, Rick Parfitt, Alan Lancaster and John Coghlan - nicknamed the Frantic Four - will play together on stage.

Six UK dates are planned, and you can enjoy a 24 HOUR PRE-SALE right here on Planet Rock. Tickets go on general sale at 9am on Friday, November 16.

Parfitt described the band being together again after so long as "surreal", and that since re-uniting they have all been in regular contact together on Skype.

When asked for the cause behind the reunion, Parfitt stated: "it's for many, many reasons, including the fact that we're talking to Alan Lancaster again. and if we don't do it now, it might never happen. Come on, we're old men."

Although the 'Frantic Four' have no plans to record any new material before the live dates (which you can find below) the possibility of a new album has not been ruled out, providing the tour goes well.

Fans should note, however, that the current 10-date tour from Quo's current line up will not be affected.
