Just in case either Bad Touch or Mollie Marriott aren’t on your radar yet, here are some nuggets of information on them both:

Bad Touch are Stevie Westwood (vocals), Rob Glendinning (lead guitar), Daniel 'Seeks' Seekings (guitar), George Drewry (drums), Michael Bailey (bass).

One of Norwich’s biggest talking points since the pedestrianisation of the city centre, Bad Touch are truly an incredible band that need very little introduction.

Serving up their own scintillating meld of Southern boogie-tinged classic rock that nods towards everyone from the Black Crowes to Lynyrd Skynyrd and Aerosmith, the quintet have released two studio albums since their inception seven years ago – the critically acclaimed 2015 debut ‘Half Way Home’ and last year’s ‘Truth Be Told’, which built upon the promise of their debut with aplomb and spawned the searing single ‘99%’ (remixed by Rolling Stones producer Chris Kimsey) that became a mainstay on Planet Rock’s airwaves.

A potent live force thanks to their tight musicianship, propensity to unleash killer riffs and the antics of their captivating frontman Stevie Westwood, over recent years the band have rocked festivals like Download and Hard Rock Hell and toured with the likes of The Kentucky Headhunters, The Answer and Tyketto. They also co-headlined the Planet Rock Roadstars tour with Broken Witt Rebels in February and following their triumphant Stage 2 set at Planet Rockstock 2016, they’ve now landed a Main Stage slot at this December’s event which follows the culmination of their Planet Rock Live tour. Expect them to be at the top of their game!

Mollie Mariott:

Daughter of former Small Faces and Humble Pie singer/guitarist Steve Marriott and step-daughter to singer Joe Brown, Mollie Marriott has spent much of her career in the wings working as a backing singer for a diverse array of artists including Oasis, Jeff Beck, The Faces and her famous step-dad.

Now primed to deservedly step onto centre stage, Mollie releases her new studio album ‘Truth Is A Wolf’ via her own Amadeus Music label on Friday 3rd November. Taking in an array of styles and featuring two collaborations with the Modfather himself Paul Weller, the 10-track record is the perfect showcase for Mollie’s timeless, soulful and emotionally powerful blues vocals that are imbued with classic rock influences.

Mollie says: “I’m really excited about the album. It features a lot of different styles and I think it really showcases my vocals. We have a lot of fun making the album and I hope people enjoy listening to it. I can’t wait to perform the songs when we tour with Bad Touch in the UK during November.”
