Page: Zep Reunion Down To Plant

Jimmy says that there is no Zeppelin without Robert

Jimmy Page has revealed that there will definitely be no Led Zeppelin without Robert Plant.

The legendary guitarist revealed that the future of Zeppelin is firmly in Plant’s hands, and although he’d like to do more it isn’t particularly likely.

"You'd better ask Robert Plant what the future of Led Zeppelin is. Musicians can always play together but I don't think you can go out with a band called Led Zeppelin if you haven't got the original vocalist.”

Page reunited with Zep bassist John Paul Jones and John Bonham’s son Jason following Zeppelin’s show at the O2 Arena and they three musicians auditioned a number of vocalists to see if any worked but they couldn’t agree on anyone. Jones has of course gone on to form Them Crooked Vultures with Dave Grohl and Josh Homme, while Page is reportedly working on new music for an as yet unconfirmed project.
