Back in February, Peter Frampton revealed he is suffering from a degenerative muscle disease called Inclusion Body Myositis (IBM).

Frampton explained at the time The Farewell Tour will definitely be his last one due to the rare and incurable condition, which causes muscles to weaken over time.

Frampton was first diagnosed with the disease four years ago after he fell over on stage, however he booked his farewell tour when he noticed the effects speeding up in autumn 2018.

In October of this year, Frampton wrapped the North American leg of the Finale Tour and his UK dates will be his last ever concerts.

Frampton’s first-ever blues album with the Peter Frampton Band - 'All Blues' - was released to critical acclaim back in June.

The album remained at the number one position on the Billboard Blues Albums Chart for 15 weeks, marking Frampton’s best overall sales numbers and chart positions since the release of his Grammy Award-winning album ‘Fingerprints’ in 2006.
