PLANET ROCK SCHEDULE CHANGES

We\'re shuffling shows around next week

Planet Rock is going to be changing the schedule a little bit from next Monday.

On 1 February we are going to be shuffling things around a little.

First up, Nicky Horne will be back doing a Monday – Friday but he will be on earlier. From Monday Nicky’s show will be on from 6-10pm from Monday to Friday, with his Chains moving to Sundays at 6pm.

Rick Wakeman will now be joined in the studio by David Jensen each week, while the Wednesday repeat will now turn the airwaves blue on Friday nights at 10pm with the Rick Wakeman Uncut show in which we let Rick loose on the world (you can probably expect "a little swearing” and Rick can finally make use of that HUGE collection of dirty jokes that he’s been saving for many, many years).

Joe Bonamassa’s show will now air on Saturday nights at 7pm and then repeat the following Thursday at 10pm.

Liz Barnes’ New Music show will now air on Sunday nights from 8-10pm.

The Planet Rock Specials move a hour earlier to 6pm on Saturday nights, and repeat on Thursday nights at 11pm.

The prodigal son returns in the shape of Mark Jeeves, who has decided that he just isn’t quite busy enough with his other radio endeavours, and he will fill the 7-10am slots on Saturdays and Sundays.

Sam Hughes will keep you entertained on Saturday night from 11pm-1am and on Sunday nights from 10pm to midnight, while Murray J will be here from Monday to Wednesday at 10pm-Midnight.

Bernard Doherty’s Listomania moves to weekend lunchtimes, broadcasting from 1-2pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

And Alice Cooper’s Saturday night show moves an hour earlier to 8pm.
