PRESALE: Joanne Shaw Taylor announces intimate October tour & confirms sixth studio album
Joanne Shaw Taylor has penned an album deal with Sony Music imprint Silvertone and announced an ultra-intimate October 2018 tour.
The blues rock sensation’s first major label contract with the recently relaunched Silvertone label is a global deal for three studio albums starting in early 2019. Joanne’s two most recent albums ‘Wild’ and ‘Dirty Truth’ will also be moving over to Sony.
Joanne will showcase material from her upcoming sixth studio album on a Planet Rock presents tour that takes in 10 shows opening at Whitley Bay Playhouse on Monday 1st October and wrapping up at Harpenden Public Halls on Sunday 14th October.
“Over my career, I have worked with different labels but when I got the chance to release the next albums through Sony and Silvertone in particular, I couldn’t say no,” says Joanne.
“To be part of such an iconic label that has released albums by some of my guitar heroes like Buddy Guy, John Mayall and even The Stone Roses is such an honour. I will be starting work on the new album over the summer and can’t wait to get into the studio and release the album in 2019!”
