Boston rockers Extreme join fellow Planet Rock Stage headliners ZZ Top at Mote Park this July, in what will be a UK festival exclusive performance.

Extreme guitarist Nuno Bettencourt says: “There will always be a special place for the UK in our hearts. Way before More Than Words hit around the world, the UK was ‘Getting The Funk Out’. Recognising Extreme as a rock band first and foremost has and will always connect us. Cannot wait to rock with you at Ramblin' Man!!!”

Singer Gary Cherone adds: “We are honoured to be headlining the Ramblin’ Man Fair. Extreme has always had a special relationship with the UK fans and we look forward to a great night.”

Newly confirmed for the Planet Rock Stage across the weekend are Dokken (UK Festival exclusive), British Lion, Blues Pills and Colour of Noise.

The Kansas headlined Prog in the Park Stage expands too with Focus, I Am The Morning and The Gift joining the party.

Elsewhere, Rival Sons will top proceedings on the Grooverider Stage where they will be joined by fellow new additions Vintage Caravan, The Picture Books and Dirty Thrills.

Over on the Outlaw Country Stage, The Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band headline with Ghoultown, Whiskey Dick and Jessica Lynn also on the bill.
