Rammstein’s concert at Coventry Building Society Arena on Sunday night (26th June) was reportedly so loud it could be heard 11 miles away.
The Coventry Telegraph has quoted several Facebook users who stated they could hear 'loud thumping' noises as far away as Nuneaton and Burton Hastings, which is over 11 miles away from the stadium.
The newspaper wrote: ‘Posts on Facebook discussed hearing everything from a 'loud thumping' to a 'loud beat' through their closed windows, while others said they took to their gardens to listen. A loud boom was heard around 10.20pm as fireworks lit up the night sky to end the gig.’
Twitter user Karl Aldred shared a video from outside the CBS Arena, which proved how loud the concert was and also featured the billowing smoke and flames emanating from the on stage pyrotechnics:
Rammstein’s concert in Coventry last night is just one of two UK dates on their jaw-dropping Stadium Tour across Europe this summer. The German industrial metal titans play Cardiff Principality Stadium on Thursday night (30th June).
Many of the sold-out crowd in Coventry shared photos and videos of the mind-blowing stage production.
Another attendee shared the moment Rammstein surfed the crowd on rubber dinghys before ‘Ausländer’, which saw members of their crew hold up signs saying ‘Willkommen’ – German for ‘Welcome’.
