Roger Waters Announces Final Wall Show

A show in Quebec will be the biggest one to date

The final show of The Wall tour will take place in Quebec City on 21 July - 22 years to the day after Waters played in Berlin, shortly after the Berlin Wall came down.

Waters has revealed in a new video that the final show on the tour will be different to all of the previous shows.

"This one will be different. It’s going to be 800 feet wide, to make it the widest wall ever. When we did it in Berlin the end of the wall tapered off. Here it’s going to look like it disappears, so we get a Great Wall of China effect.

"It’s something I’ve always wanted to do outdoors theatrically. If you don’t come there’s something f***ing wrong with you.”

The show will feature more lighting, more pyrotechnics and a better surround sound system.

Waters has previously suggested that he would retire after The Wall Tour finishes.
