Sammy Hagar & The Circle have recorded a rip-roaring cover of AC/DC’s ‘Whole Lotta Rosie’ as part of their Lockdown Sessions series during the coronavirus pandemic.

Eponymous band leader Sammy Hagar and his Circle bandmates Michael Anthony, Jason Bonham and Vic Johnson laid down their cover of AC/DC’s 1977 anthem from their separate homes this week.

Sammy Hagar & The Circle version of AC/DC’s ‘Whole Lotta Rosie’ is the fifth instalment of their Lockdown Sessions series, which has already seen them cover The Who’s ‘Won’t Get Fooled Again’, Van Halen’s ‘Good Enough’, and Bob Marley & The Wailers’ ‘Three Little Birds’.

The series kicked off with a brand new Sammy Hagar & The Circle track ‘Funky Feng Shui’.

Back in March, Sammy Hagar & The Circle axed their South American tour due to the coronavirus pandemic. They are scheduled to embark on a North American tour throughout the summer.

Of course, numerous bands have been performing tracks while in quarantine including Queen + Adam Lambert recording a new version of ‘We Are The Champions’ and Metallica joining forces from their homes for a stripped back version of ‘Blackened.’

Sammy Hagar & The Circle released their debut studio album 'Space Between' in May 2019.
