Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and restrictions in force on live music, Saxon have been forced to reschedule their trio of UK tour dates yet again.

The 40th Anniversary Eagles & Castles Tour dates in London, Glasgow and Manchester were originally due to take place in October 2019, however Saxon rescheduled them for March 2020 after singer Biff Byford underwent emergency heart surgery.

Ten days before these March 2020 shows were due to start, Saxon rearranged them for August and September because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Today (1st July), the metal icons have rescheduled the shows for a third time and the gigs will now take place in May 2021. All tickets will remain valid for these revised show dates.

Biff Byford says: “Thank you to all who have kept their tickets and supported us in these times, sorry about all this but we are dedicated to do these shows and we will do them no matter what, so stay with us and keep the faith.”

Biff has also recorded this video addressing his beloved fans:

Earlier this year Biff Byford cancelled his spoken word solo tour in support of debut solo album ‘School of Hard Knocks’, citing poor ticket sales.
