Metal titans forced to postpone tour for second time
Slayer have cancelled their UK tour for the second time as bassist Tom Araya’s ongoing health problems have forced him to have surgery.
The April dates that were postponed last year have now been postponed again, although no new dates have been confirmed as yet.
"Tom gave various medical treatments more than a fair shot," said Slayer's manager Rick Sales, "but they just haven't handled the problem, so he's biting the bullet and is scheduled for back surgery at the end of this month."
Refunds are available at the point of purchase, although tickets will be valid for rescheduled dates when they are announced.
