Sweet reschedule UK tour for 2021 and add extra shows
It now takes place in November and December 2021
Sweet’s upcoming pre-Christmas UK tour has been postponed until November and December 2021.
The tour will now open at Brighton Chalk on Thursday 25th November 2021 and conclude at Bury St Edmunds The Apex on Monday 20th December.
Newly expanded to an extensive 16-date trek, Sweet will play a trio of additional shows at Birmingham Town Hall on Thursday 2nd December, Bexhill De La Warr Pavilion on Saturday 4th December and Nottingham Rock City on Sunday 19th December.
Supporting Sweet at all the upcoming dates are esteemed Thin Lizzy tribute act Limehouse Lizzy.

The current incarnation of Sweet centres on sole original member Andy Scott (lead guitar, vocals) alongside Steve Mann (guitar, keyboards), Bruce Bisland (drums, vocals) Lee Small (bass, vocals) and Paul Manzi (lead vocals).
Sweet last toured the UK in last 2019 and they headlined Planet Rock presents Winter’s End a few weeks before lockdown and were one of the standout acts of the entire weekend.
The setlist at recent Sweet shows has included all their biggest anthems, including ‘The Ballroom Blitz’, ‘Blockbuster’, ‘Fox on the Run’, and ‘Hell Raiser’.
Late great Sweet bassist Steve Priest, who sadly died in June, had been touring with his own version of Sweet in the US. Legendary frontman Brian Connolly and drummer Mick Tucker passed away in 1997 and 2002 respectively.
