The Darkness to headline Saturday night at Planet Rockstock 2021
They join fellow bill-toppers Vandenberg and Monster Truck
Six years on from their last triumphant appearance at Trecco Bay, we’re delighted to announce that The Darkness are our third and final headliners at this year’s Planet Rockstock.
Justin Hawkins, Dan Hawkins, Frankie Poullain and Rufus Tiger Taylor will bring their sumptuous, theatrical glam rock sounds to the Main Stage at Trecco Bay on Saturday 13th November 2021.
Lowestoft’s finest join fellow headliners Vandenberg (Friday) and Monster Truck (Sunday), and a weekend bill that boasts Blaze Bayley, Marco Mendoza, Massive Wagons, Those Damn Crows, H.E.A.T, Buck & Evans, Diamond Head, Collateral, Edenthorn, EMPYRE, Matt Pearce & The Mutiny, Myke Gray and many more.
The Darkness’ blistering set at Planet Rockstock in 2015 is still talked about in revered tones by everyone in attendance to this day, and 2021 will be no different.
The eagerly awaited headline slot at Planet Rockstock follows the release of The Darkness' seventh studio album ‘Motorheart’, which is released on Friday 15th October 2021 via Cooking Vinyl.
Following Planet Rockstock, The Darkness will embark on an extensive 22-date headline tour across the UK, which opens at Brighton Dome on Wednesday 17th November and culminates with two nights at London O2 Shepherds Bush Empire on Thursday 16th and Friday 17th December.
