The Dead Daisies have premiered the visually striking video for their new single ‘Holy Ground (Shake The Memory)’.

The current incarnation of The Dead Daisies – Glenn Hughes (vocals/bass), Doug Aldrich (guitars), Deen Castronovo (drums) and band founder David Lowy (guitars) – will release their fifth studio album ‘Holy Ground’ on Friday 22nd January and title track ‘Holy Ground (Shake The Memory)’ serves as another tantalising taster for the record.

Penned by Glenn Hughes, the Deep Purple, Black Sabbath and Black Country Communion legend says: “Holy Ground has an intense groove, dramatic light & shade and a massive chorus. It’s about awakening to the present moment, shaking the memory and a transformation into consciousness.”

Doug Aldrich adds: “Holy Ground is a deep intense musical ride that takes unexpected turns and drops you off exhausted but happy!”

The accompanying video for single ‘Holy Ground (Shake The Memory)’ sees the quartet belt out the track with aplomb against backdrip of swirling mist, graveyards, lightning bolts the sun and the moon, and the deepest recesses of space.
