Thunder announce London Christmas show & confirm early 2019 live dates
Fresh from wowing Download Festival earlier this month, Thunder have announced one of their now-legendary Christmas shows.
The inimitable Danny Bowes, Luke Morley, Ben Matthews, Chris Childs and Harry James will grace The Roundhouse in Chalk Farm, London on Friday 21st December 2018.
The special festive gig will see Thunder perform two sets on the night; a ‘sit down acoustic’ segment followed by a ‘jump around electric’ set.
A limited number of VIP packages go on sale from thunderonline.com at 9am on Thursday 28th June with general sale tickets following at 9am on Friday 29th June from Planet Rock Tickets.
Confirming there will also be some non-London live shows early in 2019, Danny Bowes said: “Everyone who knows anything about Thunder knows that these Christmas shows are special, shall we say somewhat unscripted!
“I can also say that, whilst we have some very special live dates for early 2019 in the planning (and I’m happy to reveal that they represent something a little bit different for the band), there won’t be a London show amongst them – so, for all our fans in the capital, if you want to see the band there, this is your only chance for quite a while.”
The Christmas show will be the perfect close to a successful 2018 for Thunder, which has already seen them hit number one in the UK charts with ‘Stage’, tour extensively across Europe and Japan, make waves on the Monsters of Rock Cruise and perform at Download.
