The rock icons, who recently released the career-spanning album ‘The Greatest Hits’ to celebrate their 30th anniversary, will play a total of five headline shows next autumn.

The trek opens at Cardiff Motorpoint Arena on Thursday 19th November and calls in at Birmingham Resorts World Arena, London The SSE Arena Wembley, Glasgow SEC Armadillo and Leeds First Direct Arena.

Ugly Kid Joe are the very special guests at all dates, and Thunder will personally be cherry-picking a different opening band for each night on the tour. Those bands will be revealed in due course.

Thunder have also confirmed they have commenced work on their next studio album and will release it before the November 2020 tour.

Our 24-hour ticket presale to Thunder's arena tour starts at 10am on Thursday 21st November 2019 before general sale on Friday.

Planet Rock's very own Danny Bowes comments: “After ‘Please Remain Seated’ and ‘The Greatest Hits’ releases this year, work on the next studio album is already under way. We’ll get it out before these 5 shows.

“I’m chuffed to report that it’s all new tunes, and it’s all ROCK. The setlist will be a mix of the new album and fan favourites, so it’s going to be a bit of a job working out which tunes we’ll play. I think I’ll leave it to Luke to sort that one out!”.
