Tool announce May 2022 arena tour

Tool have announced four UK & Ireland arena shows for next year.

Tool will bring their mind-warping audio-visual live spectacle to Manchester AO Arena on Monday 2nd May 2022, Birmingham Resorts World Arena (Wed 3rd May), Dublin 3Arena (Fri 6th May) and London The O2 Arena (Mon 9th May).

The concerts are part of a larger European trek throughout April and May that also calls in at Denmark, Sweden, Germany, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Poland, Czech Republic and Hungary.

Tool drummer Danny Carey says: “It is with great pleasure I get to announce our return to the road.

“These past 18 months have been trying to say the least but from great trials come great lessons and great rewards. We are genuinely looking forward to sharing them with you.”

Singer Maynard James Keenan adds: “Let’s finish what we started. Shall we?”

Tickets to Tool’s concerts in Manchester, Birmingham and London go on sale from Planet Rock Tickets at 9am on Friday 1st October 2021.

It’s the first time Tool have toured Europe since the release of their critically lauded fifth album ‘Fear Inoculum’ in August 2019.

Tool wowed Download Festival with their phenomenal headline show in June 2019. The last time Tool played indoor shows over here was way back in 2007 when they played a trio of shows in London and Manchester.
