Van Halen Postponed Dates Now Cancelled

The band will apparently not reschedule their tour for later this year

Last month Van Halen surprised us all when they cancelled a vast percentage of their North American tour at pretty short notice. At the time there were rumours of a falling out between the band members, but Dave Lee Roth released a statement confirming that they were just taking a rest ahead of a lengthy world tour.

It was expected that the scuppered dates would be rescheduled for later this year but now, according to Pollstar, the dates have been cancelled completely.

It's looking likely that the cancellations are a result of a scheduling conflict, as Van Halen will be in Japan in November. Presumably they will be playing other dates in Asia at around the same time, making it difficult to schedule a North American tour for the winter.
