Back in June when he was just seven, Taj Farrant posted a 45-second video on Facebook where he played an almost note-perfect rendition of David Gilmour’s legendary guitar solo on Pink Floyd’s ‘Comfortably Numb’.

Unsurprisingly, the video soon went viral and has amassed over 1.1million views and counting.

Since then, the Australian child prodigy has posted a series of further videos on his social channels showcasing his age-defying talents.

His subsequent covers include AC/DC’s ‘Back In Black’ and ‘You Shook Me All Night Long’ and the Guns N’ Roses version of Bob Dylan’s ‘Knocking On Heaven’s Door’ plus a performance of ‘Comfortably Numb’ in its entirety.
