Available to watch in its entirety below, the segment sees the sextet drive through the streets of Los Angeles with host/driver James Corden and belt out classic anthems ‘All My Life’, ‘Best Of You’ and ‘Learn To Fly’ and recent single ‘The Sky Is A Neighbourhood’.

Alongside performing their songs with great gusto, the band chat about life on the road, Nate Mendel explains what it was like joining Foo Fighters just months after Kurt Cobain’s death, and Dave Grohl speaks about breaking his leg on stage in Sweden two years ago.

The clip culminates with the band pulling over at the Guitar Center Rock Walk on Sunset Boulevard where Dave and Taylor Hawkins give James a drumming lesson.

With James talking on lead vocals, in front of a packed shop the entire band then perform Rick Astley’s eighties anthem ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’.

Foo Fighters, of course, performed the track with Rick Astley at Summer Sonic Festival in Tokyo in August and once again at London’s O2 Arena on Tuesday night (19th September).

Foo Fighters’ new studio album ‘Concrete and Gold’ is out now.
