Alongside landing an acting role as Hodor in Game of Thrones for five years, Lisburn born Kristian Nairn is also a progressive house DJ performing club gigs under the moniker DJ Hodor.

A man of diverse musical talents, 42-year-old Nairn attended Hellfest in Clisson, France over the weekend where he launched into an impromptu jam with Dave Mustaine and David Ellefson shortly before Megadeth took to the stage.

In the footage posted by Megadeth’s Brazilian guitarist Kiko Loureiro, Nairn can be seen playing guitar to 1990 ‘Rust In Peace’ opener ‘Holy Wars... The Punishment Due’ with the Megadeth frontman and bassist.

Viewed over 1million times on social media, Loureiro captioned the footage: “Hodor! Hold the door! Holy wars! @kristiannairn. He’s an incredible guitarist.”
