WATCH: Iron Maiden's 'Aces High' gets World of Warplanes music video
Iron Maiden’s ‘Aces High’ has been given a World of Warplanes music video to celebrate a collaboration between Bruce Dickinson and Wargaming.
Metal legend, pilot and aviation aficionado, Bruce Dickinson is hosting 10 online educational warplanes diaries for Wargaming that have launched today on YouTube.
The weekly free-to-view videos – aptly entitled The Bruce Dickinson Warplanes Diaries - continue throughout June, July and August and see Bruce speak about World War II fighter and bomber aircraft such as the Spitfire, Hawker Hurricane and Messerschmitt Bf 109.

To launch the collaboration, a World of Warplanes video for Iron Maiden’s seminal 1984 anthem ‘Aces High’ has also been unveiled.
In keeping with the song’s themes of a British RAF pilot fighting against the German Luftwaffe during the Battle of Britain, the video melds archive WWII footage with clips from the World of Warplanes game and stars Iron Maiden’s beloved mascot Eddie the Head as a fighter pilot.
"We are all delighted that Bruce has brought his enthusiasm and expertise to World Of Warplanes with these informative videos which he has delivered in his own inimitable style," commented Wargaming's global marketing director, Al King.
"As well as the diaries and the 'Aces High' tribute, we are also introducing a renovated hangar subtly branded with iconic Iron Maiden imagery. It's unlike anything the game’s ever had before and we hope Maiden fans will have fun spotting the various Easter eggs hidden throughout!"
‘Aces High’ is the opening song on Iron Maiden’s Legacy of the Beast European Tour, which hits the UK for shows in Newcastle, Belfast, Aberdeen, Manchester, Birmingham and London in late July and early August.
