Watch: Kris Barras premiere video for anthemic new track 'Vegas Son'

The latest tantalising taster of Kris Barras Band’s eagerly awaited new album ‘Light It Up’, which is released on Friday 13th September via Provogue, ‘Vegas Son’ is an instantly catchy musical gem and has been a firm live favourite for months.  

Barras comments: "Vegas Son has one of my favourite guitar riffs of the album. It’s always great fun to play live. I’ve spent a lot of time in Las Vegas and I’ve been known to have a little flutter on the Blackjack once or twice!

“This song is about living life on the edge and taking risks; a ‘Vegas Son’ is being someone that adopts that Las Vegas-style mentality."

Also boasting the previously premiered tracks ‘What You Get’ and ‘Ignite (Light It Up)’, ‘Light It Up’ boasts 13 all new Kris Barras Band songs.

They follow up the September release of ‘Light It Up’ with a 13-date UK tour that also includes their two slots at Planet Rock’s Rocktober. Tickets are on sale from Planet Rock Tickets now.

"We've had a crazy year,” enthuses Kris Barras. “We went from playing to 75 people a show in early 2018, up to selling out 500 cap venues just 12 months later.

“This October will see us head out on our biggest UK tour to date and will coincide with the release of the brand new album. Every tour that we do, we try to raise the bar and improve as a band.... I can guarantee that this one will be another step up."

Following the tour, they play the completely sold out Planet Rockstock on Saturday 7th December.
