WATCH: Massive Wagons bash Facebook with new single 'China Plates'
Massive Wagons have premiered their Facebook-ridiculing single ‘China Plates’ and its accompanying lyric video.
Available to download right now, ‘China Plates’ sees the Lancashire quintet take the Mickey out of Mark Zuckerberg’s social media giant and its users with a series of hilarious lines.
The pick of the bunch is arguably when inimitable singer Baz Mills weighs up whether to unfriend someone: “I really wanna just get rid of your mush / But you like my band when pull comes to push / I’ll unfollow your face and we can carry on with this charade / From your ugly kids to your uglier rants / Would you like to see me in my pants? / But I dig the fact we both think the Scorps are great / Blackout!”

‘China Plates’ and its Planet Rock playlisted predecessor ‘Under No Illusion’ are both lifted from Massive Wagons’ upcoming new album ‘Full Nelson’, which lands via their new label home of Earache Records on Friday 10th August. You can pre-order it right here.
With their career on an upward trajectory, last week Massive Wagons were added to the Download Festival line-up where they will play The Dogtooth Stage on Saturday 9th June.
Baz Mills says: “Signing to Earache for us has been the absolute making of this band. We like to think we were operators beforehand, but since the signing we've really ramped up every aspect of what we do: including stage shows and song writing.
“A massive thing for us is being added to the Download 2018 line-up, that's something we've been striving towards since day 1, plus we have a summer jammed with festival slots: Steelhouse, Rock and Blues Custom Show, Wildfire to name a few.
“Busy times, good times, can't wait to get stuck into it with Earache and see how far we can take this.”
