When Rivers Meet premiere 'Battleground' video on Planet Rock

British blues rock duo When Rivers Meet have premiered the music video for their single ‘Battleground’ exclusively on Planet Rock.
Released tomorrow (9th October), ‘Battleground’ is the first offshoot from When Rivers Meet’s debut studio album ‘We Fly Free’ that lands on Friday 20th November 2020 via One Road Records.
‘We Fly Free’ was self-penned by When Rivers Meet – aka husband and wife duo Grace and Aaron Bond – and follows their two warmly received EPs, ‘The Uprising’ and ‘Innocence of Youth.’
Commenting on ‘Battleground’, When Rivers Meet say: “The intensity is relentless until the inevitable ‘calm before the storm’ and then it all kicks off again; that’s when the magic happens, and Grace’s voice rocks the heavens with authority. A real toe tapper of a song!”
‘Battleground’ was played on Wyatt’s The New Rock Show earlier this week.
Helmed by Terry Crouch at One Big Idea, When Rivers Meet's ‘Battleground’ video sees Grace and Aaron belt out the track with great aplomb.

Available to pre-order here, ‘We Fly Free’ was recorded with Adam Bowers at The Boathouse Studio in Suffolk.
Grace Bond says: “We’re so excited about this record. Our two previous EP releases have really given us such a good foundation and helped us to find our sound. When we came to record the album, we knew exactly what we wanted to create.”
“The album is titled ‘We Fly Free’, which is indicative of where we are right now. We feel we’ve grown so much in this last year as people and as a couple: it’s really given us the confidence to write with freedom.”
Grace performs vocals, mandolin and violin on the album, with Aaron on vocals and guitar duties. They’re augmented by producer Adam Bowers on bass, drums, organ and piano, and Robin G Breeze on bass, organ and piano.
