Wolf Jaw 'beyond distraught' after van is stolen containing their music gear
Wolf Jaw have appealed for information after their van was stolen with their music gear inside.
The Cannock trio, formerly known as The Bad Flowers, took to Facebook on Sunday (28th July) to confirm that the white Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van was stolen outside bassist Dale Tonks’ house in the early hours of that morning.
Unfortunately, due to the stolen gear, the band were forced to cancel their final support slot with Crobot at the The Craufurd Arms in Milton Keynes that evening.
Wolf Jaw listed the following items as stolen and asked fans to be on the lookout for them at resale sites and shops:
Orange custom shop 50 head
Orange ad200 head (with RR on the sides)
Old orange 4x12 cab
Orange 2x12
Orange 8x10 bass cab
Mexican jazz bass, white with ashtray in his cox case
British drum company one of a kind drum kit
Stagg cymbals
Drum hardwear
Orange O bass
A bunch of pedals including analog man, ehx, basic audio, Dunlop
In an update last night (30th July), Wolf Jaw wrote: “Ahh well... there’s some light at the end of the tunnel I suppose!
“Thank you all for the shares, comments, offers to lend us gear and well wishes!
“Please keep your eyes out for any high end orange amps, Dales basses, Karl’s Drum Kit and pedal boards that look like you’re getting a bargain and of course Oz Tours van!
“We’ll gather more gear at some point... the show must go on, right?!
“Tom, Dale and Karl.”
Prior to their tour supporting Crobot, Wolf Jaw rocked the Dogtooth Stage at Download Festival last month.
Wolf Jaw changed their name from The Bad Flowers at the turn of 2019, just a few weeks after their appearance at Planet Rockstock.
